Tata Motors plans to strap a diesel engine which is being developed in alliance with German powertrain maker FEV on world’s cheapest car - the Nano.FEV is an independent engine and powertrain systems research, design and development company, headquartered in Aachen, Germany. FEV is already working with Mahindra for the upcoming Scorpio Hybrid.
